Generally, they should be the same. Some of the IT groups are playing games where they track what you look at and raise rates as searches increase thinking you're getting more serious and therefore likely to pay more. I'm not sure the same tricks work with the app.

Clearing your cache and/or browser history might thwart their efforts. Using different browsers or computers might help too. You might also try the incognito mode in Chrome. Just like we try to find ways to get better deals, the IT groups look for ways to maximize revenue.
