The other point we haven't touched on here about the 333s and their age are the mechanical issues. I loathe flying the damned things now because it seems every time I do, there are delays or cancellations due to mechanical problems. Thankfully the YYC-LHR/FRA flights seem to be permanently on 777/787 now.
