That's what it sounds like. But I do remember when I had the flight changed to F, my AA account did show the itinerary was ticketed. But after reviewing the emails, I didn't get a new ticket number. I just called AA and the agent said to give it a week and see if it gets fixed. It currently shoes "on request" after a small time change.
If you don't have a new ticket number you essentially have nothing firm.
