100% agree. I was pushing 20-30k/month through there, but I kinda got scared. I did not want to lose the account, since I'm only eligible because of marriage. I have no clue what they do if they close an account, and didn't want it to get pushed back to my wife or my inlaws since my account is there because of them. Now I just put the occasional MO in there. It helps that I use it as a business account for rental properties so a few thousand a month is not big deal.
You'd be fine if they closed your account. I think they would have some privacy act issues if they told your in laws about your personal financial dealings. Once you get access to membership you are a member, regardless of the relationship that got you in.
