- asked customer services and they said no. Issue is starting a 16 night stay in London next week, and bonus points accrual will be at platinum level rather than spire for that entire trip. So a 50% difference.

Could look to try and split the trip into multiple bookings but complicated as joined a new firm, have to stay in policy etc. etc. so instead looking at just trying to make a plan for that $2 spend.

I didn't think that point purchases classed as elite qualifying points. Good idea though. Does anyone have any experience?
