I don't really mind having feedback with this rep thing... I appreciate constructive critisism. If I post something and it disturbs someone else, I would like to know, preferably with comments. I just don't think this needs to be announced to the entire forum (barring an extreme case, and we have the "report post" option available for that). In my case, one ding put me in the doghouse. I'm guessing others, not familiar with how this works (or worked) are unaware how easily people can be abused. It only takes one person having a bad day. This may be no big deal if you have been here long enough to have a following of friends willing to up your rep back to favored status. A new person here is SOL and particulary vulnerable.
