AA is in terminal C not D which was once the entire US terminal. When US and DL did a huge route swap a few years ago, DL moved into the US terminal.
AA will be in the new main terminal, DL will be by themselves it appears.
Not long ago, DL reached a deal to include Terminals C & D in the overall project. So when all is said and done, it should be one big shiny new terminal from B through D.
