Hyatt devaluation - Residence Club point changes
I saw the recent category changes for Hyatt that went into place at the beginning of August. What I didn't notice until now is that they also updated the point rates required for Residence Clubs. It used to 12,000 points for a studio, 15k for a 1bedroom, 22k for a 2 bedroom, and 30,000 for a 3 bedroom. It was one of the best deals in their program. Looks that has all changed and I don't remember seeing any press releases announcing these changes. I was just quoted 25,000 points for a studio and 40,000 for a 2 bedroom.
Has anyone else noticed this? Was it announced or is Hyatt switching to stealth devaluations?
