On a flight on A380 I have selected 25D which is the one where there is no seat in front. I also can select the seats upstairs, do you think I should change to an Emergency Exit upstairs where I have no one in front and maybe a more private cabin experience?

I also have a long flight from SYD to LHR on 777300 and I was unsure which might be the best Y seat. What about Emergency Exit? Is the bustle at seat A or K very large and obstructing? At the moment I am in 29C which has no seat in front is this any good.

Thanks for your help in advance
Here is a wee review of row 80 in the rear mini cabin. No window and you'll be one of the last ones off but it's definitely more peaceful as no through traffic. There is no intrusion on the exit 'sticking out' so to speak. I usually carry a rucksack with a big hoodie in it which after getting airborne makes an ideal soft footrest and ideal for taking the weight off your legs.

25D you're not allowed anything on the floor throughout the flight as the crew bunks are underneath and there is an escape hatch at that seat. Still a great seat though and a very airy and open cabin but definitely more general noise I found and folks using the space as a 'passing place'.

As for 29C an excellent seat but if 29H is available take that than one of the emergency exits as passengers loiter/congregate there where the toilets are.

Less crew traffic on that side too (a tip from Can i help you a very experienced Cabin Services Director who is on here frequently sharing his knowledge ^) and that's what I seem to see in most cabins I have been in, seems a tendency for the A side to be used, YMMV)
