Resurrecting a dead thread...I usually carry clips to ensure that light doesn't come in where the hotel curtains meet in the middle but I forgot them on a recent trip. So, I discovered a new use for hotel pens - join the curtains together and use the pen clip to hold them closed. All those years of watching MacGyver weren't wasted after all!
