This has been discussed extensively in earlier threads in this forum, but as already explained the purpose seems to be for crew to get sufficient flights on 77W, i.e. to familiarise themselves with the 77W aircraft.

I took one of these 77W flights to PRG in May and it was a nice experience - although disappointed not to get upgraded to C - there were alot of op-upgrades on my flight, except for me
