IMO, the AC sandwiches are not very good, based on a couple of meals at DFW ACs. Mine were highly unimaginative, and suffered from being packed some time in advance, in spite of the fact they leave some items aside so you can prepare a "fresh" meal yourself.

If the entrepreneurial spirit truly lives, we will see gaps being filled by folks selling well-prepared packaged food to take aboard, like the sushi one can buy in PDX (if I'm not confuzzing it with SEA.) So far, that isn't the AC.
