I know it's annoying, but I don't think most airlines would allow a full refund or a complete change of flights, because that would resort to chaos if everyone jumped on that. You say that you are being informed less than two months out which, not to be argumentative, I read as being two months, give or take; which is a long time. As you probably know, EC261 compensation for this type of thing kicks in at two weeks, which is reasonable. I'm not defending QR (or any other airline), but schedule changes can and do happen (just look at AA), and being told about it a couple of months in advance is fair enough. Again, not to be argumentative, but these ex-EU snafus often result in a 'cake-and-eat-it' situation.
