Annoying I appreciate, but it's the risk we all take to save on the fare out of LHR.

I don't quite agree with this because if the same thing happened on AA, BA, LX, LH, UA or most other airlines I have had such an issue with, they would try to re-accommodate you on another flight (or at least offer a full refund).

I have also never had such a significant schedule change so close to my date of travel (I always pad my LHR-EU-LHR connections for this very reason).

So this seems to be a risk of taking QR on ex-EU flights.

Besides, my new OSL-LHR flight is going to cost me £30, so I will live. It's just the attitude QR has to their schedule changes (i.e. 1 hour 45 minutes is nothing so get lost) which is regrettable.
