The airport must have CLEAR kiosks. If you have PreCheck, you get put into the front of the PreCheck line; if you don't, then you get put in front of the line of regular screening. If the SkyPriority line is long, then you get to skip to the front of that line, too. Unless you mean that the SkyPriority line has their own dedicated screening machines?
If I'm understanding correctly, the whole background check and biometric kiosk doesn't really add any value if the end result is to allow you to merely skip ahead of a bunch of people straight to the TSA document checker based on PreCheck status on BP. Why do you even need a background check and biometric to cut the line when screening process is exactly the same as if you are not enrolled in Clear (rhetorical question)?
