Quick trip report from this weekend:

Checked in Friday and out Sunday. Gold status, requested an early check in and room was available upon arrival around 10am. Upgraded to a corner room, high floor, on a $170/night AAA rate. Had a late checkout on Sunday at 4pm.

Hotel location is awesome, about a 7-8 min walk from the Loop (easy train in from Midway), great neighborhood around it with lots of bars and restaurants. Lobby was a step up from the typical Aloft due to a nice restaurant called Beatrix. Enjoyed lunch there on Friday and a quick beer on Sunday. The place was packed all weekend.

Overall an excellent stay, no hassles, would recommend to anyone looking for a well-priced stay in downtown Chicago.
