I don't travel LH without a flat bed so ex-UK on WTP in not a viable alternative.

AS Ex-EU is easy when you choose the right airport, I save hundreds of pounds going ex-EU instead of ex-LHR with very little effort.

The extra tier points also make it worthwhile
