Recently booked an award stay here for late September.
Originally I booked 4+1 nights at the Westin using the seasonal high rate of 25k per night but wasn't happy with the redemption rate. I called back several times to see if I could get into the Prince with no success. However, after mentioning wanting to book the non-standard room, the agent found availability.
I have currently booked 4+1 nights at 21.5k per night at the seasonal low rate (good value vs. the Westin for sure). The agent had to call the hotel as she could book the first 4 nights but had no availability for the 5th, which she was able to get the hotel to open up while I waited on the phone (very good service).
Although a somewhat slower response time (3 days), the concierge managed to book nearly all of my dinner requests, which really takes a lot of the work off of my shoulders.
