My repeated telephone calls to UA last summer 2015 for every UA flight that I had always gave me this response. And, EVERY UA flight I had was delayed. I then moved all of my flying over to Delta, and life was much better.

So is the above no longer the rule? Is 'Protection' as we have always known it to be (like in the good old pmUA days) still working? Why do only some of the phone agents know about this and/or know how to do it?
