Oddly, P class was still available for a confirmed change within 24 hours of flight yesterday. I thought for sure that there was no way a discounted F/J fare would be available on a Sunday the day before departure. I've done a couple of the $599 P fares and agree there is no reason to use cash and miles when the fare is that cheap.
