Is MX870 the one with no keypad? If so, then they do support PIN entry. Giant used to have them (and some even had the EMV slot) and I remember seeing PINs entered on the touchscreen. Not many shops used them though and they were short-lived because IIRC people with disabilities had difficulties with a virtual keypad. Giant's workaround was to keep a 1000SE lying around at the till, but they got rid of them with the MX915s.
