Assume that Chinese Immigration computers are sophisticated enough to catch the subterfuge. Anybody who still wants to try faking the onward then flying back making it a nonconforming TWOV, should prepare to spend an extra RMB 5000 for a fine, and a few extra hours in the back room of Immigration, as possible consequences.
