Yes - you almost certainly will get caught. You must be in transit to a third country. This is checked, and a breach will see you detained for questioning and probably fined if the authorities believe you have tried to circumvent the system.

You can however buy a roundtrip PEK-NRT and nest that with your BKK-PEK rtn. That would give you a back-to-back entry under TWOV which is allowed.
