My Windows tablet and phone need a PIN to unlock the screen. My laptop and work PC, as well as pretty much every online service I'm part of, need passwords to log in. Like it or not, passwords or equivalent are accepted security measures. That's not to say that it's impossible to be stupid with them, because it definitely is.
You also have to admit that it's a bit weird to have PIN basically be optional for debit cards. Either require it for everything or don't ask at all.
Actually, the upcoming Chase Sapphire Reserve is better than the Odyssey. 3x travel and dining (vs. 2x for dining on Odyssey). AF is effectively $150 once you take into account the $300 travel credit that applies to anything coded as travel (not just airline incidentals like other similar cards). UR is worth a minimum of 1.5cpp if you book travel using Chase's portal and you can possibly get higher if you transfer points to airlines or hotels. Plus there's going to be a 100,000 UR signing bonus.
Of course there's no PIN, but that doesn't sound like it matters all that much.
It flashed "Visa Contactless" really quick and then said approved. Aid is VISA.
