  1. Go to ba.com and join the British Airways Executive Club (frequent flyer program). This is free and creates no obligation of any kind.
  2. Make note of your BAEC membership number.
  3. Login to membershiprewards.com > Points Summary > Link Loyalty Programs > Link additional Programs and LINK your Membership Rewards account to your new BAEC account. Do NOT choose "Enrol Additional Programs". Do NOT transfer points to BAEC at this stage.
  4. Call BAEC 1 800 452 1201. Ask about availability of AWARD travel from JFK to DUB on flights operated by Aer Lingus. (The agent may offer flights operated by British Airways with a connection through London. That's not what you want.)
  5. The award will require some BAEC Avois points and some fees.
  6. If AWARD seats are available on acceptable days at an acceptable price you can transfer points from American Express to BAEC while you are on the phone with the agent. You will make the transfer online, but you must book the ticket by phone.
