I have a Citi HHonors free weekend night certificate expiring on Monday 8/22, and I would like to use it for a last minute escape this weekend.

Me and my wife live in New York City. We have a young baby, so this limits our range somewhat - ideally we'd go somewhere within a few hours drive/train/bus ride from NYC, though a short flight could work too.

We have a few ideas (Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal) but wanted to see if the collective wisdom of this forum could come up with something better. Urban / rural / mountain / sea locations are all fair game. Are there any hidden gems out there? Normally I'd pick the destination first and then the hotel, but in the circumstances we'd let a nice hotel decide the destination. We've traveled extensively over the northeast, so there is no bucket list.

The certificate is good for most Hilton hotels (including Conrad, Doubletree etc.). I am HHonors Gold.
