It sounds like your FF number was changed when you entered the lounge and the TK number helped you to get the OPUP. Now having received benefits due to your TK status, you want to send the miles to another program. Some airlines don't like this. In fact, I suspect that if you had asked to change the FF number back at the gate, you might have been downgraded.
