Stayed there almost exactly a year ago, booked 3 nights using points. Service was excellent, breakfast was good. Got upgraded to a suite from a standard room despite being the peak of the summer vacations. Location was alright, a taxi ride to the old town costs about 3-5€ (don't flag down taxis, you're very likely to be scammed. Use a taxi app and make sure the driver uses meter), or its a 15 mins bus ride (non air conditioned, extremely warm during the summer) to the old town which is about 1€.
All in all i really enjoyed my stay.
