When a family member (who had applied for the card) called in, the MBNA rep said that the 60000 was a US promo only and that the highest Cdn. offer is always only 30000 points. After a lengthy conversation, 50000 was received. From reading previous posts I see others have also had a problem with this. A suggestion was made to call BW Rewards, but I didn't see any follow up posts as to whether this was successful.
I called BW and they said the points would come in the statement after the check - so I'm assuming if you don't get it by your 4th statement, call in again. They were definitely aware of the promo and said my account was in order and I'd receive them though, so I'm just playing the waiting game still.
