They even forgot to credit the remaining 6x points after 90 days for some of my transactions (for goibibo, last year) and only after multiple emails they accepted their fault.
Yes, I always keep track of points manually and I have found both HDFC & Citi to miss (conveniently?) posting some bonus points and after reaching out, the points do post.
I am sure, I myself miscalculate and leave some points on the table. oh well.
