The way I see it, you're a paying student that attends a school which has a contract with National/Enterprise Holdings. I looked up the U of Oregon contract (it's readily available) and it says nothing about restrictions with regards to when the contract ID can be used.
Could there be an issue with the LDW? Possibly. Do you have your own car insurance/primary insurance on the credit card you used for the reservation? If you do, you should be all set either way.
I would say go for it. Like you said, it's a quick one-way. 99.9% chance you'll be fine.
