I had a bachelorette party on night at the W New Orleans and the bellman unloading my car told me I wasn't allowed to bring the ice chest full of alcohol up to the suite. This was not during Mardi Gras. I told him just to put it in on the cart and bring it up to the room and he could tell the manager about my "transgression." If the hotel GM had a problem with my liquor and such he could come up personally and remove such item. The GM never came up but he did call to make sure everything was okay with the suite.
