I had a similar experience on Monday night DEN-SAN A320. The inbound was late from PHL, and people were deplaning about at our originally scheduled boarding time was to begin. The GA said they would be doing a "quick turn" so that we could get to SAN on-time. We left the gate one minute late and arrived in SAN a few minutes early.
