Ha!! I thought you were saying "Citi isn't that nice" (nice enough to fedex you a card). Not that the AC's themselves aren't that great.
Yes, I'm with you on the fact that for most trips, most situations, I'd just shrug and live without the lounges. (Although I do like some of the renovated ACs, within the expectations of a domestic lounge with pretty wide-open access rules.)
And although I have the Prestige card now, I'm probably *not* carrying it beyond next year unless there's some new development - lower fee, other/better lounge access somewhere - between now and then. It nets out at $200/yr if you buy an airline ticket or two with it, but still...I don't hit enough Priority Pass lounges to justify $200/yr.
