I could not find a dedicated thread, hence creating a new one.

I have an upcoming Business trip to the US and would be flying via Etihad through AUH. I am a Etihad Gold member. And AUH has a US Preclearance facility (US Customs and Border Protection i.e. CBP).

Queries:

1. Fast track immigration & baggage:
   I have 2 Etihad flight options. The first has a stopover of 1h45m (22h flying time) and the second has a stopover of 8h (33h flying time) at AUH. Considering I use the Fast track immigration & baggage option, would 1h45 be sufficient to deboard the flight, clear immigration and board my connecting flight on time? If no, I could choose the latter option
2. Lounge access to survive the 8h layover:
   The Etihad pages states I can access the Business Lounge as well as the Al Reem Lounge Facility on Terminal-1. Would either lounges have a time limit? I hold a priority pass and if there is a time limit (say 2 hours), I can use both my Etihad & Priority pass card to survive the 8h layover
3. Experience with Fast track immigration & baggage:
   How is the experience using the Fast track immigration? Does it really save time? I have my connecting flight to USA.

If 1h45m is actually sufficient to deplane, complete immigration and board my connecting flight, I would prefer this flight due to the shorter travel time.
