For approvals with Citi, in regards to recent inquiries, the rule is no more than 6 inquiries within the last 6 months, correct?
I applied for the AA Plat on August 10th, and going back from that date, I had 4 inquiries on Experian in the last 6 months: 3 for Chase (June, July, July), and 1 for Amex (February). I got an immediate denial when I applied online, and when I got the letter, it cited too many credit inquiries on my Experian. I called recon, and the CSR said that she couldn't help even after talking to an account specialist. Does anyone know why this would be an issue?
