Amazing! Two days short of 7 weeks after BA lost my luggage, I returned home one morning and there by the front door was my lost bag! I wonder if someone looked a little harder after I submitted the claim for $$ that it was then located. When I opened it I was even more surprised that it looked like no one had even opened it-it was supposed to be raining in Zurich so I had put a black garbage over the contents then closed the straps over that. So I went to Twitter (most effective way to contact BA it seems) to ask about compensation for delayed baggage expenses and about 5 days later the money was deposited in my bank account. Success!
