Would a large balance in my Chase checking help to limit risk of cancellation?
I currently have $200k in a non-chase bank account that's reimbursements for work expenses. I'm paying off the work expenses by cycling a CFU with a $7500 limit. Each time I pay it off I pay from the non-chase bank account to the chase credit card accounts. Technically no MS, but habits very similar to MS...
Have a mortgage with Chase as well.
In preparation for knowing this spending bonanza was coming I've opened up SW Biz, CSP, and Ink in the last 5 months. I've had continual spend on the SW biz, limited spend on the CSP outside of the original spend, and minimal spend on the just opened Ink.
I've also opened up Amex Platinum, SPG Biz and SPG Personal so plenty of credit inquiries in the last 6 months.
None of my spend has been in bonus categories, 5x shipping, etc.
I started at the beginning of this thread and was terrified I was going to lose the Chase UR points I've already gained. Now I'd just like to avoid account closure. If so I can ship these to United, SW, and Singapore and not lose any sleep over it.
