As was previously mentioned in this post is the Cascades Lodge in Vail (cat 6). It is not located in Vail Village or Lionshead, but rather Cascades Village, which more or less sits by itself. The nice feature is that it has its own lift to get you on the mountain.

I had reservations there a few years ago (pre-Starwood), but ended up cancelling, as my friend wanted to stay in Vail Village (Lodge at Vail). Accordingly, I can't speak to anything about the property.
