Percy, you legend, thanks! Your right, the 48k is in addition to the monthly average of 40k. According to the T&Cs, its a monthly average of 30k over 3 months.
"To be eligible for 40,000 Miles (480,000 points), new customers must spend an average of HK$30,000 per month for the first 3 months after the date of card issuance."
Can I assume if I spent 70k in month 1 followed by 10k each in month 2 & 3 that I would still qualify? I only ask because I am away for some time. Whats your interpretation?
After reaching the 90k and getting the reward I assume I should then ditch to BEA which offers a better $/AM ratio in the long term?
Any idea on the processing times for Citi?
