So I'm going to Hawaii in October using the crazy fare a couple of weeks ago (Belgium - Hawaii for around $390 return!) which includes a (nightly) layover in LAX. Arriving at 11PM and leaving at 8AM, we booked a hotel nearby.

Arriving at LAX, we will need to clear immigration and customs I think. We will also need to pickup our bags (for said customs), so we'll have our bags with our at the hotel, correct?


Given I have zero experience at LAX, at what time do you suggest we arrive again at the airport, when our flight leaves at 8AM? We do have Oneworld Sapphire, so we can use the business check-in, or is it better to use some baggage drop-off points if they are present, since we will have or BP's already?
