Who knows what happened? must be MX since the aircraft arrived from YUL after delays and then poof. gone. remaining flight schedule cancelled.

Seems like a continuation of a bad week for DL: I was flying SLC->JFK last night, and our flight got diverted to BOS for what seems to be no reason whatsoever. We had been cleared into JFK, but because they weren't sure what was going to happen once we landed, someone decided to send us to BOS anyway. I cannot think of any scenario in which it would be more helpful to be on the ground in BOS versus on the ground in JFK for a flight, but apparently someone at DL wanted some extra operational flexibility and didn't care about the extra three hours for me to get home.
