I don't know when the new 757 for transcons will be, but I did notice that effective a few months ago the 5PM IAD-SEA (Which has been 757 for many years) went to Airbus. And the 8:20AM SEA-IAD (the 916 flight which has been extremly popular with Senators and Euro-bound folks) goes Airbus as well on Monday, after many many years of being 757. Either way, both flight changes are not to my liking since I fly them every week.

FWIW - The UA916 does go back to 757 for the summer schedule.
