Might be good for plane spotters at DUB (Don't remember seeing any 747's here before) but for everyone else it is difficult.
Diverted to YYT (Newfoundland) with sick passenger and then timed out crew hours from there. Much apologies from the crew who are obviously limited legally - not BA fault.
I hope that the sick passenger has improved. Told that replacement crew is on way from London with estimated departure from DUB of 16:00
Ironically this JFK-LHR is the penultimate leg of an ex-DUB flight, so I've missed the last leg of the booking LHR-DUB but with a separate return to LHR booked for 12:55 which I might have a chance of getting - though would it be worth cancelling that (Avios) seat and letting someone more needy from this flight to get back early, assuming anyone can rebook? I'm not in great rush. It's now 12:15 though as we're still being pulled so limited options now anyway.
Sounds a very eventful night, and very uncommon to get a double-divert! Does not seem to be a such a smooth journey as our (unknown) HNL TP runs!
Best of luck ^
