My partner tells me Emirates Y is streets ahead of BA and you get lots of food served.
The main course has the same quantity between the two airlines, if I have to pick something I'd say BA edges out better on quality on the exLHR services.
However, they do serve up a pizza slice on the loooong DXB-BNE service before the breakfast whichi is also miles better than BA's dog ear of a breakfast.
More importantly, they have the snack basket in EK Y which BA is withdrawing. ^
I'm really warming up to EK after flying them a few times and already one flight from EK gold tier.
