For shorthaul, they have a great route network in UK & Europe, and a good loyalty scheme. Also, whilst Mr Cruz seems to be doing his best to eradicate this, I love the idea of an all inclusive ticket. Both for business and leisure it's nice to book the ticket and not have to worry about getting my wallet out again during travel, and just being able to relax without the constant extra charges on the LCCs.

For longhaul, well I love the 747, crew are generally decent, product consistent. Though AA are getting better every day so Uncle T's world of pecks on the cheek and warm nuts (two experiences not related) is becoming a close contender!

In general I still think they are a good brand, and the hopeless romantic in me loves flying and the vague hint of special-ness about it left.

I also love this board, you lot provide far too much entertainment than a flying forum should. Though as others have pointed out, the VS board on FT will probably be more positive about BA than the BA board
