I need some help. I have travelled on AF to CDG several times always O/D never transiting. I will be travelling from LAX to MAD via CDG. 1) do I have to clear customs/Immigration in CDG or is it a true through transit facility? The AF website says we will arrive from LAX at 2C and depart for Madrid at 2F. If I take the transit bus to I have to clear customs etc and how long does the shuttle take? Also, is it possible to walk from 2C to 2F without clearing customs? I have already heard the horror stories about baggage transfers and am prepared for the worst. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
