Can you redeem points for a 1-way ticket?

Can I use this on any airline (hoping you all may be familiar with what airlines go to au from here as I don't, yet).

So if I sign up, earn the 50,000 plus 5,000 for an added member, that basically is enough for ___ tickets to australia? (like half a ticket haha? if an airline that goes there even accepts it??)

Theoretically, how many points am I looking to earn for 2 adults, a child and a baby if I wanted to get near to free tickets (just for fun, who knows)?
