Thx for all your posts to my earlier Air NZ sky couch question. After reviewing more and more sky couch feedback, I am thinking perhaps Air NZ is NOT the way to fly to Auckland from Vancouver based on other numerous posts on other forums that I've read - narrow aisles, uncomfortable seating, sky couch not all that usable if the seats are back in front of you, etc.

If not ANZ to Auckland, then who to fly? I don't really mind first a 'hopper' flight Vancouver to LA, SFran, or ? and then a 12+ hr leg to Auckland (basically 1 stop flight). The thing about exploring a booking with Quantas is that you can't see seating options until after you book your flight. I don't like that! Air Canada coshares with ANZ so even if I liked ACanada as are carrier, they are out.

Can anyone offer alternatives to ANZ for getting to Auckland from the west coast? I'm not sure Prem Ec on ANZ is really worth the price...it is quite a price to pay. I haven't travelled long hauls before, over 6+ hrs and appreciate any help for my booking. Thx once again.
