GIG-MIA, first the mile high club and now a million miler

OK this is a pure self promotion thread. The last time I went to Rio and flew GIG-MIA I was initiated into the mile high club. This last trip to Rio I became a million miler and requalified for EXP (whew!).

So what could possibly happen on my flight back from Rio?? Well I can’t wait to find out.

It was an interesting flt. A dead heading pilot swapped seats with a pax and ended up next to me. I don’t know all the details but there were plenty of empty seats, including the window right behind me where the pilot would have been sitting next to the dead heading captain.

The purser was giving me extra attention but it was fake nice attention. I could tell he was not being genuine. I guess he was doing it to impress the dead heading pilots.

Right before landing he gave me a bottle of white and made up some story about not having the red I asked for. I have no idea what he was talking about. I don’t remember asking for a wine they were out of. Anyway it was a nice gesture but I think he had ulterior motives.

It was nice drilling the pilot about misc things during the flt while we were awake.
